About the event
The Young Democrats of South Dakota are electing new leadership at our State Convention on Saturday, June 6 from 9:00-11:00 AM in Sioux Falls.
We’re excited to welcome District 15 Representatives Erik Muckey and Kadyn Wittman to this year’s YDSD Convention. They’ll be joining us to talk about leadership, organizing, and what it’s like serving in the South Dakota Legislature as young elected officials.
At convention, we’ll be electing Vice President, Outreach & Inclusion Officer, Communications Director, Secretary, Treasurer (2-year terms), and two National Committee Representatives (1-year term). You don’t need to have run a campaign or held a title before. If you care about building a stronger, more connected progressive movement in South Dakota, you’re qualified to run.
